Reports, exports, and workflow automation
Reports turn operational and billing data into decisions. Workflow automation removes the manual steps around a completed trip, like generating a report, filing it, and notifying the right people.
Reports and custom reports
Open Reports to review operational and billing trends, export data, and build reusable custom reports.
Build a custom report
- Open the report builder and choose the source data or report type.
- Select the fields to include.
- Add filters such as date range, status, payer, driver, patient, or service area.
- Choose grouping and sorting where available.
- Include totals or aggregations when needed.
- Save the report with a clear name and description.
- Run, export, or schedule the report according to your role.
Location fields are available for custom reports: pickup latitude, pickup longitude, drop-off latitude, and drop-off longitude, for geographic confirmation or audit analysis. Use the smallest field set that answers the business question — reports containing patient or location data should be shared only with authorized recipients.
Workflow automation
The workflow feature automates repeatable actions triggered by platform events. The first supported automation is:
Trip completed → generate the trip report → upload it to Google Drive → send an email notification.
Supported workflow actions include:
- generate a trip report;
- run a saved report;
- upload a file to Google Drive;
- send an email.
Workflow actions run asynchronously and may retry transient failures. A Google Drive or email outage should be reviewed in workflow run history — it does not necessarily mean the underlying trip failed. See Integrations & Live Features for how to connect Google Drive and set up a workflow, and use least-privileged integration accounts so protected information only reaches recipients who are authorized to receive it.
